Spirit Day - Winter White Out Day!

Do you like Kernels Popcorn? How about candy? Dill, cheese and white cheddar popcorn for sale outside the cafeteria today. And candy!

Toy Drive - please fill up the bins outside the caf and main office with donations of toys! Rec and Leadership class will make the donations to Interval House to help make the holidays a little brighter for local families.

Hawk Shop - check out the Hawks gear being sold outside of the cafeteria at lunch every day this week!

Student Trustees - apply to be a student trustee for 2026-2027. Amplify your student voice and gain leadership skills! Applications due January 29th -see PP for more info.

Grad Photos - don't miss out on capturing this special milestone. The booking link can be found in the Google classroom, posted around the school or in PP.

Pizza Pizza! - Wednesday at lunch purchase Paul's Pizza. $3/slice or 2 for $5!

White House News:
-Grad Panel: are you ready to hear about what life is REALLY like on the other side of high school graduation? Plan to attend our Grad Panel on Thursday, December 18th during period 2 in the Library. -if you are a graduate who has benefitted from accommodations outlined in your IEP and are headed to post-secondary in the fall, be sure to check our Google Classroom or stop by PP for info about an upcoming online event.
-Schulich Leader Scholarships are prestigious entrance scholarships that recognize students from across Canada who are pursuing a degree in the STEM field from a partner university. If you would like to be considered for the NDSS Schulich Leader nomination, please speak to Mrs. Kelsey for further info.
-PP now booking appointments for online applications to colleges and universities. Please book your application appointment on our regular booking page before the holiday break.

Multicultural Club - meeting very briefly in A17 at lunch today.

Music Room News: Tuesday mandatory rehearsal for both Gold and Stage Bands. It's concert week! Wednesday 7pm Gym 1, everyone welcome!

Athletic News:

Boys Hockey - excused at 1:45 today for their game.

Swim Team - all members remember to submit your events for our meet on January 9th. See Ms. Walker.

Badminton - anyone interested in badminton please attend a meeting tomorrow in D17 at the beginning of lunch.

Alpine Team - snowboards practice after school today; skiers if you missed gate training last week, you also have a training after school tonight. On hill training is Wednesday, meet the bus at 5:45 am at the Flying J.

Cheer Team - practice tonight in the Activity Room from 6-8 pm.

Novice Volleyball - taking place today at lunch in Gym 2. All girls interest in novice volleyball, come to the gym today at lunch for some fun.

Spirit Day - Ugly Sweater Day

What are you up to during Period 3 on Thursday? Want to see our senior volleyball teams serve it to the Napanee OPP? Want to help raise food and money for The Morningstar Mission while you are at it? Join us for a period of digs, kills and so much fun... what a great way to head into the last couple of days before the break! Admission at the door is $2 or a food donation.

A reminder to be safe in the parking lot - walk carefully, drive slowly, do not climb snowbanks.

NASA Christmas Tea Party - today during lunch in B3! Enjoy cookies, hot cocoa, music and festive fun as we celebrate the holiday season together.

Congratulations to Ms. Mair's homeroom class for collecting the most items in our Holiday Food Drive - an amazing 65 donations! Shout out to runners-up School To Community and Mr. Noble's homerooms! Together we collected over 110 food donations and raised more than $325 through Cans for Cookies and donations. Great job Hawks! Thank you for spreading holiday cheer and helping our community.
