Ontario Day is an opportunity to celebrate the province and the significant milestones and contributions of pas and present generations, highlighting Ontario's important role in Canada. It is also a chance for students to learn more about Ontario's history and develop a shared appreciation for the province and its future.

June is Pride Month - a time to recognize and celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Pride is about being proud of who you are and respecting others for who they are too.

Grads - Grad Breakfast is tomorrow during period 2 and YOU MUST complete your Grad RSVP and Info form online by then as well.

Hawk Shop - The NDSS Hawk Shop grand opening is TODAY! It is a place to buy drinks, candy and snacks at the cafeteria. Debit or cash!

Special Olympics Provincials - last week students travelled to London ON to compete in basketball. The team represented our school with pride, encouraged one another as well as other teams every step of the way and demonstrated the Special Olympics motto: Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt. We are so proud of each athlete for their hard work, resilience and amazing team spirit both on and off the court.

Athletic Banquet - Get ready to celebrate another amazing year in athletics at our Annual Banquet. Tuesday, June 9th at 2:45 pm in Gym 2. Tickets available outside the caf at lunch until June 3rd. Free as long as your athletic fees are paid.

Athletics News:

Track & Field - Congratulations to the EOSSAA athletes last week who competed! 8 athletes and the jr girls relay team will compete at OFSAA next week in St. Catharines. Go Hawks!

Girls 3 Pitch - important meeting at lunch in D18 today.

Pickleball - in Gym 2 on Wednesday and Friday this week at lunch.
